The head coach of the Ghana national team James Akwasi Appiah will today be unveiled at the headquarters of the Ghana Football Association.
Kwasi Appiah, 51 takes over from Serb Goran Stevanovic after 4years of being assistant. He comes into the job at a time the national team is in a transitional phase after its disappointing fourth place finish at the Nations Cup in Equatorial Guinea and Gabon.
The former Black Stars and Kumasi Asante Kotoko captain will have big decisions to make regarding the future of many big names in the team including captain John Mensah and his deputy John Painstil as he looks to qualify the team for the nations cup in South Africa in 2013 and the World Cup in Brazil in 2014.
