The National Women’s football teams in Prampram have been asked to break camp due to lack of finances.
The Black Princesses, Maidens and Starlets were based at the Prampram Football Centre for excellence until they were asked to leave yesterday. There has been an issue of funding especially for the female football teams and until this development earlier complaints had been made concerning how much attention the Football Association gives to the other national teams apart from the Black Stars.
Reports indicate that Robert Sackey, coach of the Under 20's had been feeding the team out of his own pocket.
A management member of the Black Princesses Rosaline Amoh says the teams have been facing these problems for some time now.
Th break in camping comes at am inopportune time as the Starlets are preparing for a match against Uganda later in the year and the female teams in advanced camping for the world cup in Japan and Azerbaijan.
