Former Black Stars coach Milovan Rajevac says he reckons the Black Stars are still the best team in Africa.
The Serbian led the team to two grand finales’ at the 2009 CHAN with the (local Black Stars) and the 2010 Nations Cup with the main senior national team. He also led them to equal an African record of a quarter final finish at the World Cup in South Africa after which his initial two-year deal with the Ghana FA expired.
Speaking about his desire to making a return,Milo says
“Ghana is a wonderful football country and I would like to come back again one day to coach the team which I loved so much. After the World Cup in South Africa, everybody tagged Ghana as the best team in Africa and I don’t think that has changed."
The Serbian who is now out of a job after his sacking from Qatar also had praise for the individual skill of Ghanaian players.
"The boys are very good on the field of play and they are also very nice to interact with. I believe that is also a good thing for every footballer. I met a very good team when I came and I am sure they have even gotten better".
